Intricon Welcomes Wayne Young as Vice President, Global Accounting and Treasury

Wayne Young has joined Intricon as Vice President, Global Accounting and Treasury, bringing a robust background in financial management and strategic leadership. With more than 20 years of experience across diverse industries, Wayne has a proven ability to optimize financial operations and support organizational growth.

Most recently, Wayne served as Vice President of Accounting at SomaLogic, where he guided the accounting team to an elevated level of success, growth, and collaboration which was instrumental in the successful merger with Standard Biotools in early 2024. His career also includes serving as Global Dental Segment Controller at Steris (formerly Cantel Medical) and holding key accounting leadership roles within Cantel Medical’s Medical segment. With expertise spanning biotech, medical devices, dental instruments, and corporate services, Wayne’s dynamic perspective adds significant value to Intricon’s financial operations.

Wayne earned both an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, equipping him with the skills to drive innovation and operational excellence.
