Tool Room
Manufacturing processes here include in-house mold and fixture fabrication, often micro miniature in size.
Intricon uses a Haas Vertical Milling Center for manufacturing tight tolerance cavity and core graphite electrodes that are then used in our CNC Sinker EDM department, particularly the small intricate detail and thin walls that are required in the micromedical products we build. In the video, an electrode is being created to make a mold cavity.
This area is for assembling components and products that don’t require a clean room. It also includes our MRB and incoming QA inspection areas.
Clean Room 1
Our Red Fox facility has two clean rooms totaling more than 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space meeting Class 100,000 (ISO 8) certification.
Clean Room 1 is where we have micro electronics assembly including wire bonding and pick and place assembly.
Clean Room 2
All Intricon manufacturing facilities are registered with the FDA.
Quality Inspection
Intricon’s quality standards are rigorous. Products go through an AQL inspection by our final QA inspectors before being shipped out of the building.
